TeL Systems Awarded District-wide Technology Contract

Summary: Company awarded $5.6 million contract to supply and install classroom technology.

ANN ARBOR, MI – June 1, 2010 – TeL Systems of Ann Arbor, a provider of advanced video, audio and communication solutions, was awarded the $5.6 million contract to supply and install classroom technology systems for the Chippewa Valley School District in Clinton Township, Michigan.

Beginning this summer and stretching over the next 18 months, TeL Systems will be installing video/data projectors; Smart boards and assisted hearing systems in over 825 classrooms in 22 schools throughout the district.

“A key component of our being awarded this contract was our ability to demonstrate to the school district how they could accomplish their goals on a cost-effective basis and at the same time meet or surpass the project specifications”, said Karl Couyoumjian, President of TeL Systems.

The Chippewa Valley School District serves more than 15,600 students in grades K-12 and is one of Michigan’s fastest growing school districts.
